I have written short stories and journals all of my life from high school through college. It was only during the 1990s, I decided to write a full-length novel with ideas from these early journals. My first novel went through several rewrites and edits before it was ready for publication. The challenge to write this first novel was very enjoyable. I decided to write under several different genres to find my niche. Out of this search came another science-fiction thriller wrapped around a love story and several novellas and one novel in the romance genre. I find writing a science-fiction thrillers with romance and, and sometimes, fantasy elements best for me.
And, I continue to write every day, and, yes, I do try to base all my character's traits on real-life people. But, with experience comes wisdom, and I combine more character traits from character studies into one character.
I wanted to write my own screenplays for my novels, so, I learned through on-line classes. I found Final Draft was best for my efforts. Final Draft offered some of the best classes. I enjoyed the education
I have a new series of books, thrillers, not only with romance elements, it has some very intriguing fantasy elements.
I had several of my poems, Two Sides To A Story, Handsome Is As Handsome Does and Life's Road, turned into songs. Life's Road appeared on HillTop Record's Album, America. Two of my other poems were published in two separate anthologies. The Tree That Remembers was published in the 1996 National Library of Poetry Anthology, The Colors of Thought. Two Sides To a Story was published in the 2002 National Library of Poetry Anthology, Letter From The Soul Series.
